The software offered for purchase by JM Rosborough Stability Consulting is activated via the use of a license provided as part of the purchase process. The software itself is available for download by the user but it will not function without a license.
Licensing Benefits:
- The license provided is good for the current version you receive plus all subsequent program variants of the issued main version, e.g.: License for received version 1.02.04 is good for all 1.xx.xx versions. New main versions (e.g.: 2.xx.xx) will require an update at a reduced cost.
- You will have free access to the next major version update if the update occurs within 6 months of your original purchase. A new license will be provided.
- The License for the version purchased is valid for 5 years. After 5 years you may choose to update to the current version or purchase a time extension for a processing fee.
- A single user will be granted a license that works on up to 3 computers. The user shall only run a single version at a time. This supports the segregated computing typically present in today’s security aware environment (i.e.: company computer, research computer, secure computer).
- Provides support for correction of software bugs.
Information Required for Licenses:
The following data below must be provided by the purchaser for each license issued. The Volume Serial Numbers for the C: drive may be provided for up to 3 machines. This allows the user to run the software on one machine at a time but have it installed in up to 3 locations (e.g.: company computer, secure computer, home computer).
- Licensee (such as company name or single user email)
- Disk_Volume_Serial numbers (up to 3 total as 32bit signed integers or hexadecimal form (16AF-104B) )

Additional Support
The software delivers with a comprehensive Help file which addresses functionality, use, and data formatting. Sometimes ‘quick start’ support is desired to make the software immediately useful on a design project. This level of support is available through our phone & email-based Help Desk Service. We have found that the minimum support level (four hours @ $75/hour) is sufficient to help navigate initial startup use and configure work practices to make immediate use of the software. This is also a cost-effective means of answering the subsequent “So how would I do this…” questions. The unused hours never expire.
