A SCRIPT builder capability is added to CompRender v02.25.00. The SCRIPT capability in CompRender is a means of executing a series of 2D drafting commands to create consistent hull and compartment drawings of DRAFT/DECK and WLASA type waterline and BUTTOCK section cuts. Previously these SCRIPTs were typed by hand with the user calculating the scaled drawing sizes, origin locations and plot offsets – a time consuming and tedious process.
Now the SCRIPT Builder capability leverages existing SHCP DECK definitions to help the user quickly and consistently generate the full deck and buttock compartment cuts layout commands using adjustable scaling and offset values. The SCRIPT may be either the DECK/DRAFT waterplane compartment cut type or the WLASA ‘between decks’ style used with Advanced Stability Algorithm (ASA) artifact display. The dialog below illustrates the use of the SCRIPT Builder.
